The SECURE Act dramatically changed how inherited retirement accounts are distributed, creating new planning challenges and opportunities. This session will examine qualified charitable distributions (QCDs), charitable remainder trusts (CRTs), and other strategies that can help clients support charitable causes while improving tax efficiency and supporting philanthropic goals. Attendees will gain practical insights into planning opportunities, common pitfalls, and recent developments affecting donors, advisors, and charitable organizations.
